Our Purpose

At A2Q, we envision a world with greater equity and social justice — where our progress as a society is inclusive of all people and environmentally sustainable.

The goal of education should be to help young people become change agents who facilitate and champion such inclusive, sustainable development.

We collaborate with educational initiatives to transform their beliefs, resources and practices so they may achieve this goal effectively.

Our Approach

We believe that design can only be innovative and transformational within a context when it is user-centered, evidence-based, and participatory.

Through these iterative cycles of planning, action, and reflection, our interventions become increasingly effective and contextually relevant over time until they are ready to be scaled across an organization.

  • Empathize

Discover the current reality of a collaborator’s context, and define strengths and needs.

  • Ideate

Identify research-based interventions to address needs.

  • Iterate

Implement with small samples of beneficiaries, and refine design through iterative cycles of planning, action, and reflection.

  • Institutionalize

Scale up based on evidence from the field, with the use of systematized policies, practices, and tools.

Our Network

Till date, we have collaborated with 15 formal and informal educational institutions that serve a total of 80,000 learners.

Regardless of the size of our network, we do not define success merely by numbers. We are driven by the desire to bring about enduring transformation. To this end, each of our projects have specific, measurable, and time-bound goals that we hold ourselves accountable to.
